Infant, Toddler and Preschool Curriculum.
The PreK Academy, as well as our infant and toddler program, utilizes the High Scope Curriculum. High Scope Curriculum focuses on hands-on experiences with people, materials, events, and ideas. Children’s developmental progress is assessed regularly. To find out more about High Scope, visit HighScope.org.
During school hours, children ages 2 ½ to 5 years old take part in our
PreK Academy which focuses on pre-reading and pre-math skills, writing, art and other skills to help your child prepare for success in school.
Before & After School Care.
School age children take part in a variety of activities before and after school each day. Weather permitting, most of their after school time is spent outside. During the winter, most class time is spent doing art activities and playing games. Both outside and inside, space is reserved for students to work on homework.
Care for school age children is available when school is not in session including spring break, holiday breaks, half-days and other school breaks or closures.
During the summer, child care is available each day for school aged children as well as infant, toddlers and preschoolers. Each Friday, we have a special water play day. During naptime, school age children take part in quiet reading/workbook time. Occasional field trips and special events are offered (parental permission required.)
